Kahr® Firearms Group Continues Support of Our Veterans

Greeley, PA – Our staff along with John “TIG” Tiegen, member of the Benghazi Annex Security team, hero of the Benghazi attack and co-author of the book “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi”, developed a collaboration project to help support veteran foundations across the country.

In staying with the “13 Hours” theme, the project offers 13 Special Edition Magnum Research .50AE Desert Eagle’s featuring the Kryptek Typhon pattern, and engravings of the TIG logo, TIG’s signature and the Beyond the Battlefield logo – the foundation TIG and his wife Margaret recently founded. Each pistol is numbered 1 through 13.

To date four of the guns have been auctioned around the country and raised nearly $40,000 for the Veteran Foundations they were offered to. Below is a list of those who have, or will receive, one of these special firearms, each personally chosen by TIG.

Kahr® Firearms Group Promotes DePorter to Marketing

Greeley, PA – Kahr Firearms Group (KFG) is proud to announce that they have promoted Jodi DePorter to Director of Marketing for the firearms group. DePorter will assume her new duties beginning October 1, 2017.

DePorter had recently been the National Sales Manager for Kahr Firearms Group and has been with the company since 2006. Prior to that, she held marketing positions at both ArmaLite and Springfield Armory. In her new role at Kahr Firearms Group, she will be responsible for all marketing services for the three brands: Kahr, Thompson/Auto Ordnance and Magnum Research. Jodi will oversee all public relations, media, marketing, as well as working with gun writers on field and test firearm evaluations.

“Jodi has always demonstrated her willingness to do whatever is necessary for the company to succeed” stated Frank Harris, VP of Sales and Marketing. “She has an extremely strong knowledge of firearms and understands the ebb and flow of our industry as well. In the years that I have worked with her, she has been a great asset to the Kahr Firearms Group.”

Kahr Arms® is Title Sponsor of Kahr Arms Defensive Challenge and Demo Day

Greeley, PA – Kahr Arms is proud to announce their title sponsorship of the Kahr Arms Defensive Challenge & Demo Day. The event will take place October 14th and 15th at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, WV.

The event is an inexpensive and unique opportunity for participants to competitively shoot pistols and pistol carbines in a variety of simulated defensive situations without the confines of an overly complex set of rules or regulations. Over two days, the match will include 6 divisions and 8-stages, each with various scenarios. The stages will replicate IDPA, will be shot on IDPA targets, but without the restrictive IDPA cover and limiting rules. Each of the 6 divisions will include challenges utilizing movement, distance, position, and concealment. Each stage will only require 16-rounds properly placed in paper or steel to complete, however, the maximum rounds fired are not limited.

Among the stages are: PCC, using any caliber carbine chambered in .380, 9mm, .38, .357, .40, and .45 calibers. Open which requires any handgun with any or all of the following; optics, compensator, or a magazine greater than 140mm. Limited is for any handgun with double stack magazine up to 140mm and iron sights. The Single Stack is for any handgun with single stack magazine and iron sights. Compact Carry is for any handgun with double stack magazine and a barrel length 4-inches or shorter. Lastly, Sub-Compact Carry is for any handgun with single stack magazine and a barrel length 4-inches or shorter with 10-round or less magazine capacity. A minimum of 128-rounds in total will be required for the match. Participants will need to provide their own firearms and ammunition.

Participants will have the added opportunity of trying out a variety of Kahr Firearms Group guns, including: Desert Eagle .50 caliber, Tommy Gun, M1 Carbine. Baby Desert Eagle, 1911s and also a variety of Kahr Arms concealment and carry handguns.

Kahr has donated 7 firearms from the Kahr Firearms Group product line as prizes. If a participant completes every stage of the match, they qualify for the prize table.

Peacemaker National Training Center just announced that they have lowered the entry fee to $25.00 for the two-day event.

Kahr® Arms Kicks Off 2017 Barrel Envy Video Contest

Greeley, PA – Kahr, the leader in technology and innovation, is sponsoring a “Barrel Envy” YouTube video contest which began September 1, 2017 and runs through December 31, 2017. The grand prize has a retail value of $10,000 in Kahr Firearms Group products to include: Kahr, Magnum Research, Thompson, and Auto-Ordnance.

To enter, contestants must submit a video no shorter than 30-seconds and no longer than 5 minutes demonstrating why they prefer a Kahr Arms pistol over a competing brand semi-auto pistol. Any Kahr Arms product may be used. Contestants then submit the URL link to Kahr.com. The videos will be reviewed by a panel of Kahr Firearms Group judges and the winner will be announced in January 2018.

This is the first time that Kahr Arms has offered a $10,000 prize value. To be considered, the judges will be looking for quality of video, good presentation, and creativity. The video must include a Kahr Arms pistol vs. a competing brand semi-auto pistol.

Greeley, PA – Kahr Arms has partnered with Gallery of Guns to offer two new limited edition exclusive pistols in the attractive new Cerakote® Patriot Brown finish. The Kahr CW3833PBR and the Kahr CW9093PBR can only be purchased through Gallery of Guns website for a limited time.

The CW3833PBR is offered in .380 ACP and features a 2.5 inch conventional rifled barrel, an overall length of 5 inches, a height of 3.9 inches and weighs just 10.2 ounces. The pistol has a Desert Tan frame and a stainless steel slide, trigger slide stop lever, all in Cerakote Patriot Brown.

Kahr® Firearms Group to Sponsor NRA World Shooting Championship

Greeley, PA – Kahr Firearms Group is proud to announce that they are Silver Level Sponsors on the 2017 NRA World Shooting Championship. The event takes place September 14 – 16, 2017 at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, West Virginia.

The Championship brings both amateurs and professional shooting enthusiasts together to compete in 12 challenging stages. Each of the 12 Stages requires skills in using various types of firearms including; pistol, rifle, and shotgun. In the end, one winner will be honored with the title of “World Shooting Champion”.

Competing for the title, while also representing Kahr Firearms Group, is Joby Goerges, Director of Manufacturing & Engineering, Magnum Research. This is the first time that Goerges has competed in this challenge. Also competing for the title will be John “Tig” Tiegen, pro-staff for Kahr Firearms Group. Tiegen is most noted for his heroic role in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2012 when Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya which killed four Americans. Tiegen is also co-author of 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi and was a consultant on the movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Tiegen has also received the Award for Heroism and Valor in recognition of his bravery.

 

Kahr® Introduces Two 9mm Models From the New “S” Series

Greeley, PA – At the 146th NRA Annual Meeting in Atlanta last month, Kahr Arms presented the latest edition to their extensive product line-up. The first two pistols in the new “S” Series were unveiled with two 9mm pistols – the S9093 and the ST9093. The new “S” Series will feature a redesigned magazine base and grip, a limited lifetime warranty and ship with two magazines.

The S9093 model features a 3.6” barrel with conventional rifling, an overall length of 5.9”, and a height of 4.5”. This pistol is similar to the CW9093, but this new “S” Series model has the added features of white 3-dot sights, front serrations on the slide, an accessory rail, and an ID tag on the grip. Capacity is 7+1 and the pistol is shipped with two 7 round magazines. MSRP is $477.

Also new in the “S” Series is the ST9093. This pistol features a 4” barrel, has an overall length of 6.5” and a height of 5.08”. Like the S9093, it too has white 3-dot sights, front serrations on the slide, an accessory rail, and an ID tag on the grip. Capacity is 8+1 and the pistol is shipped with two 8 round magazines. MSRP is $456.

Both pistols operate with a trigger cocking DAO, “Safe-Cam” Action, lock breech with “Browning-type” recoil lug and a passive striker block with no magazine disconnect. The frame is black polymer with a matte stainless steel slide.

 

Introducing Kahr® Pistols in Kryptek™ Camo with Cerakote® Armor Black

Greeley, PA – In May 2015, Kahr Firearms Group introduced an exciting new Kryptek finish on two of their most popular limited edition Desert Eagles. The pattern was so widely accepted that it sold out almost immediately. Now, Kahr Arms is once again bringing back the popular Kryptek finish, but this time it will be offered on four of their small conceal carry Kahr pistols. These models are from their Value Series and include three 9mm pistols and one .380 ACP.

The CW9093KRT model features a 3.5” barrel with conventional rifling, an overall length of 5.9”, and a height of 4.5”. All three models offer a trigger cocking DAO, lock-breach, “Browning-type” recoil lug, and a passive striker block with no magazine disconnect. The pistol sight offers a drift adjustable white 2-dot rear, and a white-dot pinned in polymer front sight. Capacity is 7+1. The pistol features the new Kryptek Camo pattern which utilizes a water transfer method which has been successfully tested for durability. The slide, trigger and slide stop lever are all finished in the Cerakote® Armor Black coating. MSRP is $495.

Next in the line-up is the CM9093KRT which features all the features of the CW9093KRT except that it has a 3” barrel, an overall length of 5.4”, and a height of 4”.The MSRP on this model is $499.00.

The new Kryptek finish with Armor Black slide is also found in the CT9093KRT. Like the other pistols listed above, it has all the same features, except that it has a 4” barrel, overall length of 6.5” and a height of 5.08”. The MSRP on this model is $477.

The smallest, most popular conceal carry pistol in this new Kryptek Camo pattern is the CW3833KRT. This .380 ACP features a 2.58” barrel, overall length of 5” and a height of just 3.9”. It has a smaller slide width as well at just 0.75”. Like its bigger brothers, it too has a white 3-dot sight, 7+1 capacity, 7 lb. trigger pull, and also ships with one magazine. The MSRP on this pistol is $439.

Three Kahr® Arms 9mm Pistols now California Legal

Greeley, PA – Kahr Arms is happy to announce that three of their popular CW9 9mm models are now California legal. These models include the CW9 in a Black Carbon Fiber frame, standard CW9 with front night sight and the very popular Cerakote Burnt Bronze.

The three CW9 models all feature a 3.6” barrel with conventional rifling, an overall length of 5.9”, and a height of 4.5” and each pistol weighs just 15.8 oz. The attractive CW9093BCF is one of Kahr’s newest finishes in a classic Black Carbon Fiber print. This textured weave provides a 3-D dimensional appearance to the 9mm while also providing a textured grip that has a tacky feel in your hand. MSRP on the CW9093BCF is $495.00.

Last in the group is the CW9093BB. The Cerakote® Burnt Bronze has been a popular finish for Kahr Firearms Group having introduced it in both the Kahr and Magnum Research product lines. Greeley, PA – During the 2017 SHOT Show, Kahr Firearms Group awarded honors to Dustin Coffman as the 2017 Rep of the Year. Coffman is employed by H&G Marketing based in Big Lake, Minnesota and has been with the company since 2013. His territory is the state of Florida.

The free KFG app includes product catalogs for Kahr Arms, Thompson, Auto Ordnance, and Magnum Research products. It also includes owner’s manuals for nearly all of the products in the Kahr Firearms Group arsenal. If you are looking for a parts list, technical data, diagrams, operating instructions, dismantling and reassembly instructions, safety information, or cleaning and lubrication recommendations – it can all be downloaded from the Kahr Firearms Group App.

Kahr Firearms Group Video Shooting Contestant gets big win!

January 16, 2017

On behalf of all of us at Kahr Firearms Group, we congratulate Drac Thalassa from McDonough Georgia on his win in the Kahr Firearms Group Video Shooting contest. Using a Kahr P9, Drac demonstrated the effectiveness of the pistol by shooting through 2 decks of cards. Drac’s video was viewed 118,483 times giving him the win in the contest. He will now be able to choose from up to $5,000 in Kahr Firearms Group. Thanks for sharing, Drac.
